Danielle Kassouf, Psy.D., Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Kassouf’s philosophy is to provide effective and supportive therapy to help individuals improve their lives and live more authentically. She values her relationships with clients and offers a warm, engaging, and genuine style that facilitates growth. Dr. Kassouf  works hard to build trust and attune to her clients’ emotions and experiences in the moment to promote understanding. She trusts that her clients have many unique strengths and have the capacity to work together as equals to find the root of suffering and correct patterns that once worked but are now holding them back.

Dr. Lindmeier is well versed in a variety of treatment approaches and has a diverse clinical background. Her theoretical frame of reference is psychodynamic; however, she uses a variety of other treatment approaches in order to meet the specific needs of her clients.

Dr. Lindmeier believes that people are complex and often unaware of the many forces that drive or limit them.  Her work goes beyond the targeting of certain symptoms and instead aims to help people find meaning and purpose in their lives, and strengthen their relationship to themselves and other people.

Dr. Lindmeier considers therapy a mutual contract between therapist and client aimed toward the goal of alleviating the client’s suffering and helping him or her to live a more realistic and satisfying life. While she takes this work very seriously, she understands the importance of creativity and flexibility, and her warmth and sense of humor clearly permeate her therapeutic style. In addition to her clinical background, Dr. Lindmeier has experience in educational and medical consultation, social services and working with youth.
